TEAM WILL COMPETE IN LOS ANGELES, CA, HOME OF DIGNITAS HQ ON MARCH 23 – 27, 2022

After cruising to a third place finish in the Copa de Rocket League European Regional, the Dignitas Rocket League team have officially qualified for the Rocket League Championship Series Winter Major. The tournament will take place from March 23rd – March 27th, 2022, as teams from all over the world compete in Dignitas’ home turf of Los Angeles, California. The event, held at the YouTube Theater, will be the first fan-attended RLCS in-person event since the end of 2019.

Dignitas has successfully qualified for each of the Majors so far this RLCS season. One of the most consistent and competitively credentialed teams in Europe, Dignitas aims to take the Winter Major crown, and to accumulate enough points to qualify for the Rocket Leauge World Championship, which takes place starting on July 22nd, 2022. Boasting 11 tournament wins, including three European Regionals and a World Championship, the team has set their goal on winning the Winter Major title.

Dignitas has solidified itself as the strongest global brand in Rocket League, both through competition and through engaging content. Dignitas has committed to a strong fan-focused presence in Los Angeles during and around the Major, which will include exclusive activations alongside top-tier influencers Herculyse, TigerQueen, NFL running back and Dignitas substitute player Boston “B0ston.” Scott, and MK.

“Qualifying for this event represents the next step on our journey to reclaiming our crown as the best and most dominant team in Rocket League,” said James Baker, Dignitas’ General Manager. “Our goal is set on winning this Major, which will be held adjacent to our Verizon 5G Gaming Center facility in Los Angeles, and is where our team will prove themselves to be the best in the world. We are the team that blurs the lines between North America, our base of operations, and Europe, where our team is based. We will be using this event to show fans from all over the world how much we believe in the future of Rocket League and the RLCS.”

After the Major is complete, the team will be back in action for the third and final split of the season starting on May 6th. Continuing from strong competitive showings in both the Fall and Winter splits, the team will be looking to make more noise over the course of the Spring.

The Dignitas Rocket League roster consists of Jack “ApparentlyJack” Benton, Joris “Joreuz” Robben, and Kyle “Scrub Killa” Robertson, and new addition Boston “B0ston.” Scott. The team has become one of the most-supported teams globally, not just in their home competitive region of Europe. Dignitas has found immediate successes despite being a newly-formed roster, having maintained top five placements throughout the season due to consistent performance at regional events.
