BenQ ZOWIE concludes the India Qualifier Finale for eXTREMESLAND CS:GO Asia Open 2017 in Bangalore
The LAN final of the ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND India Qualifier Finale was held at the LXG Café, which is one of India’s best gaming lounges. The event was hosted on the 23rd and 24th of September and provided a platform to some of the best home-grown teams in India to showcase their potential. The four finalists of the Online Qualifiers were announced and they battled it out to win an all-expenses paid trip to Shanghai and fight the best teams in Asia Pacific for the coveted prize pool of USD 100,000. The four finalists of the eXTREMESLAND ZOWIE Qualifiers were: Eternal e-sports, Entity Gaming, TradeMarc Gaming and Team Shooting Monkeys.
Last year top 3 teams from the Lan Qualifiers Event were awarded with Zowie gaming gear like mouse and mouse pads and the winner team, Invictus represented India at the Main Event in Shanghai, China. The team has although disbanded now, four of its players competed at the LAN finals this year as part of different teams.
This year the event saw exceptional gameplay by the four teams and Eternal e-sports and Entity Gaming battled it out in the last leg of the finale. Entity Gaming emerged victorious and claimed an all-expenses paid trip to Shanghai as their prize presented to them by Mr. Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India Pvt. Ltd.
BenQ ZOWIE set up an exclusive experience tour on the 22nd of September for the players which gave them a chance to get a hands-on experience of the gaming products and peripherals that BenQ Zowie has to offer.
BenQ Zowie also showcased two newly launched products which included the Zowie XL2546, a 240hz esports monitor with DyAc® technology, which guarantees the smoothest and the most responsive gameplay experience. The ZOWIE eXTREMESLAND India Qualifier Finale was packed with excitement and cut-throat competition between some of the best esports teams in the country. Q1) Did you guys Enjoy the New 240Hz Monitors and Keyboards at the event?
” The Monitor is a total game changer, it is so smooth it is hard to go back to our 144Hz monitors now” – TMG

Q1) After buying Zowie and focusing all eSports products under that brand, are the sales meeting your expectations?
“We bought Zowie in 2015 and focused all our eSports products under this brand. The Sales are meeting expectations as all the products are easily available Online and in Brick and Mortar stores as well, so Gamers from Small Town as well have access to our products. Further there is Brand Recognition among Pro Gamers when we talk about Zowie.”
Q2) Your XL series Line of Monitors are for eSPorts, are you looking to launch any product focused on console market?
“We also have the RL series of Monitors which is targeted for casual gamers which includes console Gamers as well. XL and RL Series provide Gamers option in every price bracket. RL Series of monitors offer 60Hz refresh rate which is ideal for consoles as consoles do not support higher than 60Hz”
Q3) The teams here are really Happy with all the support BenQ and Zowie has provided to them, any further plans to help a small town gamer become a Pro Gamer?
“We have partnered with various cafe’s in small towns to conduct eSports events, which helps the gamer in that region to have access to New Products and gives exposure to larger eSports picture. We have also made sure our Products are easily available in small towns, so that every gamer has access to products from Zowie.”
