2D platform puzzler to understand bipolar disorder

Independent publisher Seasun Games releases Biphase on iOS, Android, and Steam today for free and with no in-game purchases, coinciding with World Bipolar Disorder Day.
Biphase is a 2D platform jumping game with exploration and puzzles as its core. In the game, the user plays the role of someone who has bipolar disorder, trying to discover and break through the self in an abstract red and black world.
Each level within the transforming world’s controllable platforms and near-around-corner exit are excellently-conceived, and challenge players’ intelligence and patience. Use the left slider to move horizontally, and tap to jump and trigger mechanisms.
Developed by a group of students, Biphase is part of a charity programme that aims to show the life dilemmas of some patients with bipolar disorder and to comprehend the patients who suffer this illness.
Bipolar disorder (formerly called manic-depressive illness or manic depression) is a mental illness that may cause unusual shifts in mood, energy, activity levels, and make patients hard to concentrate and carry out day-to-day tasks.
The patient’s mood state is often compared to sitting on an emotional “seesaw” and they often feel unable to control and trust themselves.
Biphase is being supported by the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance (DBSA), an American organization that helps people fight against this disease. All the money collected in the game will be transferred to DBSA.
