No one knows where they came from. No one knows who created them. The only thing you know for certain is that they never stay dead for long. Shoot them, burn them, hack them to pieces. It doesn’t matter. They always come back, bigger and stronger than before. All you can do is buy yourself some time to escape. Grab your gun. Break out your trusty baseball bat. You’re on a mission, and you have one goal: SURVIVE
This is a zombie-themed survival-horror RPG where you take the role of survivors trying to fulfill a mission. You can be refugees trying to get to a safe haven, special agents sent to investigate the zombie outbreak, or even a group of friends trying to look for someone important. Whoever you play, you have a goal, and these undead monsters stand in your way.
In this game, you will:
- Carefully ration ammo and medical supplies to survive the undead onslaught
- Chart your character’s status using an index card to draw injuries and ammo usage
- Choose between Narrative, Survival, and Hardcore modes of play, or mix and match between modular rules to find the right difficulty for your group
- Draw upon personal reserves of willpower to evade harm and give yourself a boost
- Use a simple d10+d4 system to quickly resolve conflicts and push the story forward
