Cheat Death with Episode Chart in Death end re;Quest 2!
| Every choice Mai makes may be her last… With just a couple of weeks left until the launch of Death end re;Quest 2™, we’re excited to provide you with another Iffy-cial website update for the horror-inspired RPG, Death end re;Quest 2! Death end re;Quest 2 will launch on Steam on August 18. The physical and digital release for the PlayStation®4 in North America and Europe will launch on August 25 and August 28, respectively. In our previous Gameplay screenshot update (7/23) which included the Day and Night system, it was stated that a majority of the game’s story events occur during the Day. However, the story is actually divided between events during the Day and the events players will see at Night. We apologize for the miscommunication. Within the game, players will have to make choices that could affect the lives of those living at Wordsworth, which even includes Mai, Rottie, and Liliana. But players will also be rewarded via the Episode Chart when viewing each event within the game. Will you keep the characters alive, or reap the benefits of their Death Ends? The choice is yours. System: Your Choices The Steam version will contain the original Glitch costumes for the first game’s characters and will have English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitles. The first game’s characters only appear in their Glitch costumes during battle and in the main menu. The Steam version will implement the original Glitch costumes in both instances. In collaboration with the scenario writer of the Corpse Party series, Makoto Kedouin, and the character designer of the original Death end re;Quest™, Kei Nanameda, Death end re;Quest 2 is a sequel that asks the question: What happens when reality is consumed by darkness? | In the Episode Chart, players can view descriptions of each previously played event, along with a timestamp for each Death End found. Check the episode chart to claim items granted for following different episode paths. Please note that the Episode Chart is used as a point of reference. Players cannot jump back to previous scenes; therefore, it is recommended to save often. |

| Dying in battle isn’t the only way to Game Over in Death end re;Quest 2. Making the wrong choice when interacting with Le Choara and its bizarre inhabitants can result in a grisly demise. Quick save before making decisions to give yourself the chance to explore all possible paths. After each Game Over, players can return to the moment just prior to selecting. Each previously-made selection is checked off, keeping track of all explored paths. |
