TEAM17’S PRESENTS: INDIE GAMES LABEL BRINGS THE CHRISTMAS GIFTS EARLY WITH PRE-HOLIDAY UPDATES AND PRICE CUTS

Blasphemous receives final free DLC; Hokko Life and Honey, I Joined a Cult bring the festive spirit; and Greak Memories of Azur gears up for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 debut

Team17 has today revealed a sleighful of updates and Christmas-themed goodies it has in store for players over the holiday season. 

Award-winning action-platformer Blasphemous recently received its third and final free content expansion, ‘Wounds of Eventide’, which is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch™ and PC. The update adds new levels, bosses, items and secrets as well as unveiling the final chapter of The Penitent One’s first story.

Cosy life simHokko Life gets into the holiday spirit on PC, adding a range of Xmas-themed items to its seasonal store; snowperson, gingerbread house and Christmas tree crafting; and three new languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Korean, and Polish.

Monster Sanctuary today receives an update for all platforms, adding a new multiplayer season and a host of player-requested quality of life improvements.

Greak: Memories of Azur receives Xbox One and PlayStation®4 support on
14^th December; while Steam Early Access RTS Age of Darkness: Final Stand adds a trove of new content on 15^th December, including the new ‘Festerling’ enemy and ‘Treasury’ building. Sheltered 2 also receives an update on 15th December, adding a host of community-requested tweaks and features as well as revealing the title’s 2022 roadmap.

Funky cult management sim Honey, I Joined A Cult receives ‘Update 1’ in Steam Early Access on 15th December, introducing Random Events, including everything from failed bank heists by roving bands of clowns to rising blood moons, and defective underwear; Mission Encounters, where players will guide their cultists through a host of strange incidents; and the ‘Quirks’ system, which assigns cultists a variety of unique character traits that players will have to reckon with as they manage their compound, such as a penchant for night-time work or a strong admiration for gruel. Players can also now spruce up their cult’s headquarters with an assortment of brand-new Christmas decorations, including penguins, snowmen, candy canes and more.

Team17 will also be taking part in the Steam Winter Sale, 22^nd December 2021 through 5^th January 2022.
