Dallas Empire Signs Thomas “Tommey” Trewren

The Dallas Empire, one of 12 teams competing in the inaugural season of the Call of Duty League, announced today the team’s latest player signing: Call of Duty esports veteran Thomas “Tommey” Trewren will join the Dallas Empire as the team’s first announced reserve player.

An accomplished pro in the Call of Duty competitive scene, the 27-year-old Englishman has been active in esports for nearly a decade. During his career, Tommey has played on some of the world’s largest stages with organizations including Team Dignitas, Team Vitality, Epsilon Esports, Splyce, Team Reciprocity and, most recently, Sicario Gaming.

Tommey’s competitive background spans 10 Call of Duty titles, from tournaments playing Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in 2010 to the present day. He is one of only nine people who have played at every Call of Duty world championship, and one of only two players ever to have competed in every million-dollar Call of Duty tournament.

Tommey will relocate to Dallas later this year to prepare for the upcoming season with the Dallas Empire, training at the Envy Gaming’s new state-of-the-art practice facility in Dallas.
