Discover more in SCARLET NEXUS’ game and action system, along with opening movie revealed today
BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia is pleased to announce more detailed information about SCARLET NEXUS’ game system, as well as the opening animation of the game.
The game will be available from 24th June 2021 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and 25th June 2021 on PC Digital via Steam in Southeast Asia. SCARLET NEXUS anime series, produced by SUNRISE, will also be released this summer 2021.
In SCARLET NEXUS,players will take on the role of either Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall, and uncover the mysteries of a Brain Punk future, caught between technology and psychic abilities.
Pre-orders are available now! SCARLET NEXUS will be available in Standard and Deluxe editions with an early purchase bonus – available to pre-order on BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment Asia e-store and with participating retailers in Southeast Asia.

Psychokinesis Action
An action game in which the two main protagonists use their psychic ability, Psychokinesis, to manipulate objects and fight.

Combination of Psychokinesis and Weapons
Fights with a combination of weapons in hands and Psychokinesis attacks.
The more combinations you make, the more powerful your Psychokinesis attacks become, and the more damage you can inflict on the enemy.
Manipulate objects with Psychokinesis
Using psycho-kinetic abilities, the world around you becomes your greatest weapon.
Lift, break and throw pieces of your environment to build your attack combos and lay waste to your enemies.
Struggle Arms System, also known as SAS
A system that allows you to temporarily borrow the psychic abilities of your party members by connecting your brain to theirs via a virtual cable.
DRIVE System
By attacking or destroying enemies, your concentration increases, and you will enter a state of brain drive.
In this state, your attack speed and movement speed will increase, the Psychokinesis power will increase, the time it takes to use it will decrease, and you will be able to fight more rapidly.

Forbidden power comes with a price
The power of the brain to affect the outside world is increased to the utmost limit, and a special space is developed in which the user’s psychic ability is most advantageous.
While the brain field is activated, the user cannot attack with weapons, but can use powerful psychokinetic attacks without limit.
On the other hand, because it draws out power beyond the limit, it places a heavy burden on the user, so there is a great risk involved in continuing to use it.
Bond System
Interaction with characters
Brain messages, which can be exchanged with the brain like e-mail, and conversations in the hideout, will generate episodes for each character. Each character will have their own episode. By completing these episodes, a bond is formed.
By interacting with individual characters, the bond value will increase.
The bond level increases when the bond value exceeds a certain level, and the SAS connection abilities will be enhanced, supporting the player in various ways in battle.
Gifting
You can also increase your bond value by gifting items that are available during gameplay. Give items that match your character’s preferences.
The gifts you give will decorate the character’s personal space, making the interior of your hideout even more impressive!
SCARLET NEXUS Opening Animation revealed
In collaboration with SUNRISE and ORAL CIGARETTES, SCARLET NEXUS opening movie has also been revealed today here.
The origin of the game title SCARLET NEXUS is based on the concept of “red string’ and “connection” incorporated with fast-paced rock rhythms, which are also the essential elements of the game. This song has been digitally released on 25 March 2020 on various music sites.
