SDC’s upcoming multiplayer roguelike Dungeons & Treasure VR is set to release November 30th on Steam for $19.99 (with a slight discount for launch week) — go it alone through treacherous, loot-filled corridors; or better yet team up with up to 4-player co-op!
Launching for both Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, Dungeons & Treasure VR offers four different locomotion types. The classical teleport locomotion. Trackpad locomotion, which is either oriented from hand or head. The Walk-to-Point locomotion, which is a combination of teleport and trackpad. Locomotion can be changed either on the lobby or at any time in game.
As far as multiplayer goes, you can drop-in to a random game with up to 4 players. Or create a private lobby and invite as many friends as you want. The terminal in the lobby can be used to create a private game. All players who type in the same gamename and enter a multiplayer game will be in the same playthrough. Dungeons & Treasure VR is also playable in single player.
Dungeons & Treasure VR also contains waypoints to move swiftly around larger maps without having to backtrack — handy for those weary from springing traps and encounters with the locals…
