DJ Khaled and Xbox Host Celebrity Gaming Event and First-Ever Xbox Live Session

Last night, DJ Khaled and Xbox kicked-off the weekend by hosting a celebrity gaming event and the first-ever Xbox Live Session, a new interactive show livestreamed on the Mixer Xbox Channel. Throughout the broadcast, DJ Khaled played Madden NFL 18 on Xbox One S, while discussing his passion for gaming, family life and other fun topics with thousands of fans.

Popular radio personality and founder of Dash Radio, DJ Skee joined DJ Khaled in-studio as one of the first hosts of Xbox Live Sessions. Highlights from the livestream included DJ Khaled answering fan-submitted questions about his music career, flying for the first time, Baby Asahd and the Mayweather vs. McGregor fight.

Following the livestream, DJ Khaled also hosted a private Xbox gaming event at the Microsoft Lounge in Venice, CA. Throughout the night, celebrities including Noah CyrusAldis HodgeDerek HoughTerrance Ross, iJustineand more enjoyed popular Xbox titles including Madden NFL 18, Forza Motorsports 7, Cuphead and several games from Xbox Game Pass.

Khaled Mohamed “DJ” Khaled (born November 26, 1975),[1] is an American of Palestinian origin. He is a record producer, radio personality, DJ, record label executive, and author. He previously went by the name Arab Attack, but changed it after the 9/11 attacks, as he did not want to appear insensitive.[2] He was a radio host for the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR “99 Jamz” and the DJ for the hip hop group Terror Squad. From 2004 to 2006, Khaled assisted in the production of the hip-hop albums Real Talk by Fabolous, True Story by Terror Squad, All or Nothing and Me, Myself, & I by Fat Joe.[3]

In 2006, Khaled released his debut studio album Listennn… the Album. He went on to release We the Best (2007), We Global (2008), Victory (2010), We the Best Forever (2011), Kiss the Ring (2012) and Suffering from Success (2013). In 2009, Khaled became the president of record label Def Jam South and he is also the CEO and founder of We the Best Music Group.[4] Khaled released his eighth studio album, I Changed a Lot, on October 23, 2015. In July 2016 he released his ninth studio album Major Key, and on June 23, 2017, his tenth studio album, Grateful, was released.
