After a triumphant launch on PC, PlayStation®4 and Xbox One, Lightbulb Crew and Focus Home Interactive are happy to release Othercide on Nintendo Switch! The hit horror-inspired tactical RPG is available today on the Nintendo eShop with a limited-time 20% discount.
In addition, Othercide’s new Dream Mode update arrives today on PC just in time for the Focus Home Interactive Publisher Weekend on Steam, where you can grab the game on sale from now until September 14.
Dream Mode introduces a new optional difficulty setting that eases some of Othercide’s harshest edges for a less stressful experience. You’ll start the game with a bonus Resurrection Token and your Daughters will regenerate health more regularly, letting you more freely use abilities that cost HP without worrying as much about dying. The game is still a challenge, and wrong moves can still lead to a swift death, but this added accessibility should allow more players to enjoy their trip to the Dark Corner.
And not to worry for those who seek the greatest challenges: the game’s original difficulty setting is still available as Nightmare Mode.
Dream Mode will be available on consoles at a later date.
