Anno 1800, Cyberpunk 2077, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Top the List of Games Most Used on PLITCH, the Game Assistant Platform in 2020

MegaDev GmbH, the developers behind the innovative single-player gameplay customization platform PLITCH, today revealed some key statistics behind their ground-breaking software. Leading the top ten “PLITCHED” games for 2020 is Ubisoft’s Anno 1880, followed by more recent titles such as CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 and Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Strategy and city-building dominate the top ten, with Medieval Dynasty, Crusader Kings III, Total War: WARHAMMER II, and Football Manager 2020 featuring highly in the list. Consumers can tailor the gameplay of these, and many more titles, by making single-player gameplay easier or more difficult through a variety of in-game tweaks provided by the PLITCH application. With new games constantly added to the PLITCH roster, there’s a custom-tailored game experience for players of all types and skill levels

Over the past year, PLITCH  has seen significant growth, with more than 40 new titles being made available to gamers each month, in addition to the 800+ update patches to existing games already on the platform. The most used customization options on the platform are spread across a handful of games — Anno 1800, Cyberpunk 2077, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Additionally, the most popular type of mod across all titles is “GODMODE”, which grants characters total invincibility, showcasing players’ desires to get a “helping hand” when playing in single-player and story modes.

“It is perhaps unsurprising to see brand-new games, such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla featuring prominently on our ‘most PLITCHED’ list,” commented Robert Maroschik, Managing Director and co-founder of MegaDev. “However, Anno 1800 topped the list, and games from previous years, such as Witcher 3, Crusader Kings III, and Red Dead Redemption 2, all feature in the top 20. This shows that with PLITCH, players are not only breathing new life into games languishing in their Steam libraries but also help deal with pain points in more recently released titles.”

PLITCH enables a new level of game customization, which ensures longer gaming fun for users, and thanks to a unique firewall –- the PLITCH Gateway –- it ensures that gaming experience customizations never occur in competitive or multiplayer sessions. While PLITCH offers solo players the option to not only make games easier, thus saving them countless hours of battling levels outside their skill-level, it also lets players boost the difficulty, for times when they want a greater challenge!
