Go hands-on with Escape From Tarkov and its new Quest system at gamescom 2017
As part of their attendance at gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Germany, developer Battlestate Games is inviting members of the media to meet with them for a hands-on demonstration of Escape from Tarkov, its realism-focused hardcore FPS/MMO hybrid. Also, for the first time ever, Battlestate will be showing the game’s new Quest system and new abilities in weapon handling that’s been integrated into the recent Closed Beta.
As the name implies, the Quest system offers players a mix of tasks, given to them by traders in-game. Whenever a task is completed, the player’s reputation among the traders will improve (and vice-versa if quests are failed), which gives the player more experience to spend on skills, along with earning economic rewards. Through these quests, the player will gradually learn more about what has been happening in the war-torn city of Tarkov, and uncover the motivations of the traders. Quests are widely varied – from “search and recover”, to trading, interaction, target neutralization tasks and much more. as well as editors wanting to experience Escape from Tarkov and its new Quest system in-person, should make an appointment ASAP by contacting email@example.com firstname.lastname@example.org.
Come take a look at the latest version of the game, ask your questions and receive exclusive comments during GamesCom in the Business Lounge, Hall 2.2, booth number A046, room #8.
