Jumpala New Character Unveiled: Ribbon
This week we’re unveiling Ribbon, a new character in Jumpala, the upcoming fast-paced multiplayer competitive platformer to be released on Steam in Q4 2020.
Ribbon’s normal special will steal points from other players on hit and her ultimate grants her invisibility and invulnerability. Though she is not playable in the Jumpala: Tryouts Edition, you can still face off against her in Solo mode and you can also play through her tutorial.
Jumpala will be released on Steam in Early Access in a few weeks and it will include 7 playable characters, five stages, local and online play, and keyboard and gamepad support.

Overview
JUMPALA is a fast-paced competitive game that’s all about strategy, superpowers, sabotage, and stage control. Jump on platforms to turn them your color and collect points before reaching the top. Build your Special Meter to activate your character’s special moves and gain the advantage. And whatever you do, don’t fall off the stage!
The core mechanics are simple to learn, but hard to master. Each game is a test of skill and strategy as you try to outscore and outlive your opponents.

- 4-player competitive action. Compete with your friends in fast-paced free for alls, or team up in 2v2 matches. No friends? Go up against challenging CPUs, or compete against others in online 1v1s.
- Easy to learn, tough to master. If you want to be the best, you’ll have to plan your routes, practice your timing, and perfect your positioning—all while being mindful of your opponents.
- A wide variety of stages. Each stage has unique features and hazards to watch out for.
