With the Festive season finally here, now is the perfect time to play Jackbox with friends and family turned enemies after a couple games, and even random people on the internet… safely. And to do just that, Jackbox Games have put many things in place to ensure you have fun all Christmas!
Safety and Moderation
Streaming Jackbox Games in public is all fun and… well, games, until a troll comes along and says something inappropriate. Thankfully, Jackbox Games has implemented safety and moderation features in the newest releases, including The Jackbox Party Pack 9 to help you have a safer experience. These features include Profanity and Family-Friendly filters, Moderation, the ability to Kick Players and more. Now it wouldn’t be Christmas without things to share. With The Jackbox Party Pack 9 recently being released, Jackbox Games will be celebrating the most partyful time of the year with the first-ever 12 Days of Jackbox extravaganza! From December 5th-16th, Jackbox Games will be conducting a different stream, contest, giveaway, or sale each day.
Language Pack
We’re hosting a press briefing next week, Thursday 8 December, where Jackbox will detail the first ever (and totally free) Language Pack update for The Jackbox Party Pack 9. This launches on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation on 15 December with Nintendo Switch receiving this update mid-January 2023.
This update will provide players with an option in the settings menu to play every game in the pack in English, French, German, Italian, Latin American Spanish or Castilian Spanish. Word on the North Pole is that each territory will have exclusive content also. Stay tuned for more details!
