This week we celebrate a momentous occasion: the Five Year Anniversary ofKingdom, Raw Fury’s 2D sidescrolling strategy/resource management hybrid with a minimalist feel wrapped in a beautiful, modern pixel art aesthetic. In Kingdom, players take the role of a king or queen atop their horse and enter a procedurally generated realm primed to sustain a kingdom, then toss gold to peasants and turn them into loyal subjects in order to make their kingdom flourish. These 5 years have been epochal, and we stand humbled in gratitude before all monarchs who have joined us to build, explore, defend and conquer.
REIGN ACROSS ALL THE LANDS IN KINGDOM TWO CROWNS
The latest game patch, the Continue Anywhere Update, live as of November 3, 2020, brings an exciting new feature to Kingdom Two Crowns: cross-save is here! Kingdom Two Crowns now supports continuing your save on any other device or platform you own the game on. To enjoy this benefit, you will need to set up a Kingdom account to make it possible for your monarch to find their way to the other device you’re playing on. Creating your Kingdom account is straight forward, simply start up the game on your preferred platform and follow the steps.
Multiplayer has also been notably improved in this latest patch. We won’t get too technical, but we basically rebuilt a whole bunch of stuff that is going on in the background during a multiplayer session. Playing online with another monarch should be a much smoother experience from now on! There are also performance improvements on all platforms, which is awesome!
