Nexon Launches Globally Anticipated Mobile Game Durango: Wild Lands in Korea!
NEXON Co., Ltd. (3659.TO) (“Nexon”), a global leader in online games, today announced the Korean launch of its anticipated new global mobile game title Durango: Wild Lands, developed by its consolidated subsidiary, WHAT!STUDIO.
Durango: Wild Lands is a mobile game set in a primitive alternate universe, Durango, inhabited by dinosaurs. A distortion in space-time brings players to Durango from the present. Players must form communities in order to survive in Durango’s prehistoric wilderness.
After plans for the game were first revealed in 2014, the title has garnered significant attention due to its innovative worldview and game system. Pre-registration began at the end of last year in Korea, and has done extremely well, with the largest number in Nexon’s history of 2.5 million registrants as of January 24, 2018.
