First live esports event in NA sells out in 48 hours

Dallas Fuel fans are showing up on July 9. The first Overwatch League live match with fans in North America since early 2020 was expected to sell out rapidly – and it did, just 48 hours after tickets went on sale to the general public.

Fans attending at Esports Stadium Arlington, which is operating at 50% capacity for the event, will be able to watch the day’s first two OWL matches via livestream on the venue’s giant LCD screens before the Dallas Fuel players take the stage at 5 p.m. looking to widen the 2-1 lead over their in-state rivals in the 2021 matchups.

Fans attending in person can purchase exclusive Dallas Fuel merchandise onsite and experience unique activations and rewards from Favor, Jack in the Box, Jack Link’s and more. Food and drink, including alcohol for guests over 21 years of age, will be available for purchase at ESA. All fans in attendance will be asked to wear masks.
