Nutaku Launches 1st Crowdfunding Platform for 18+ Games Exclusively
Today, online adult game publisher Nutaku announced the launch of Kimochi Red Light – the only crowdfunding platform dedicated to the development of 18+ gaming. The platform is free for gaming studios and developers to showcase their projects and Kimochi Red Light will not take a percentage of any funding from the campaigns hosted on their site – a competitive differentiation from many of the major crowdfunding platforms available. Instead, game developers will receive 100% of the money raised from their campaigns outside of payment processing charges.

The launch is a result of Nutaku’s partnership with Kimochi resulting in the website’s evolution into an innovative crowdfunding hub. After populating the site with content during the past month, the crowdfunding platform officially goes live with a number of campaigns that visitors can donate to that support studios and developers from New York City, to the United Kingdom, and as a far as Ghana.
“Kimochi Red Light is going to carve a new path for artists and game developers to create content as part of the rapidly emerging mature gaming market,” commented Nutaku Communications Manager, Mia Mason. “Not only that but this platform is unlike any other because it’s uncensored and uncompromising, just how art should be. We’re thrilled to act as a non-profit catalyst for the industry and the gaming community.”
As of the official launch, current campaigns active on the site that are available for funding include: Episicava, The Tower of Five Hearts, Virtual Ro:Mance, Dimlight City, Karmasutra, Battle Girls, Echo Tokyo, and Phantasma Magic. Since the beta testing phase was launched in early January, numerous campaigns have already surpassed their funding goals. And due to this positive show of public support, Kimochi Red Light is currently looking for more campaigns to feature on their crowdfunding platform.
