A new Season of games, gods, and mayhem arrives in 2023, along with the debut of the official Blaseball App for iOS and Android devices.
The dark forces that govern our universe (and The Game Band) are proud to announce January 9th, 2023 as the Opening Day for Blaseball, the internet’s favorite fantasy fantasy sports league and horror metagame. With the Draft almost concluded, the League is primed and ready for its slate of scheduled games to begin with a revamped website, new social features, and plenty of untold horrors beyond our mortal comprehension. But that’s not all: to celebrate the start of a new Season, Opening Day will coincide with the launch of the official Blaseball app, the one-stop hub for all things Blaseball. Developed under the auspices of a foreboding pantheon of deities, the Blaseball app brings Fans closer to the game and to each other. Placing bets on game outcomes and conditions, communicating with fellow Fans, even voting in elections to determine where the story goes next: the Blaseball app streamlines the Fan experience into one place.BLASEBALL!Blaseball is the only online game based on an absurdist, horrific version of baseball, allowing fans to bet on simulated games using virtual currency. Successful bets earn votes that can be cast in regular elections, which change player and team stats, lineups, developer-written storylines, the rules of the game, and more. Past Blaseball Seasons occurred over the course of one week, followed by a postseason featuring four teams from each of Blaseball’s two leagues.
