Perforce Demonstrating Expanded Game Engine Support at Game Developers Conference 2017
Perforce Software, a provider of solutions to DevOps teams requiring massive scale, visibility and security along the development lifecycle, will have several experts demonstrating its award winning version control and ALM solutions at the 2017 Game Developers Conference (GDC), taking place February 27 – March 3 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Considered the industry standard for version control in the game development industry, the Perforce Helix Version Control System provides support for major game engines including Unity, Unreal Engine, and most recently Amazon’s Lumberyard. In addition to the Perforce booth, experts will also be available on location in the Amazon Lumberyard booth.
Booth demonstrations will showcase Helix VCS and Helix ALM, which provides quality-centric application lifecycle management and product readiness, working concurrently with people, processes, and tools along the development pipeline.
The industry consistently chooses Perforce to enable speed and control over game development and large projects that include multiple file types of all sizes. Visitors to the Perforce booth will have access to a recently released Game Development Best Practices e-book that contains insights from a selection of the company’s most innovative gaming customers, including Epic Games, CD PROJEKT RED, The Chinese Room, and Cloud Imperium Games.
