REVIEW : Diamond Hands: To The Moon (PC)

Diamond Hands: To The Moon is a simple-to-learn but difficult-to-master leaping platform game in which the goal is to reach the moon. All you have to do is move left, right, and jump to control your character. You’ll be able to refine your jump by regulating the strength of the jump to land on any target platform with practice. Apes who reach the moon will be rewarded with not only the title of diamond hands but also their heart’s most opulent wishes!

Diamond Hands: To The Moon is a challenging yet enjoyable platformer inspired by Jump King. It features excellent pixel visuals, catchy music, and both entertaining and challenging platforming.

REVIEW : Diamond Hands: To The Moon (PC)

The gameplay is similar to Jump King in that there are parts with platforms and how you move from one to the next is determined by the timing and power of your jumps. It takes some time to get used to as you learn how to jump. While the game appears to be difficult, it is manageable. It’s a difficult game, and falling through places and losing your progress can be irritating. But that’s part of the enjoyment, as you aim to beat your previous high score and reach the end, similar to Jump King and Getting Over It.

REVIEW : Diamond Hands: To The Moon (PC)

The game has an online component where you can join friends and jump and play together, ideal for this game. I can only picture the frustration and laughter you’ll have as you play together, with some of you not able to continue through regions and give each other. Even though it has online play, adding remote steam play would be nice so that only one person would need to own the game. It also makes a fun speed-running game for those skilled at it, as players attempt to complete the game as quickly as possible.

REVIEW : Diamond Hands: To The Moon (PC)

The pixel graphics are wonderful since I like the style, and each part you progress through has its own set of charming elements, which keeps the game interesting. The music mixes groovy and arcadey tracks that complement the ludicrous premise of a sophisticated businessman attempting to jump to the moon.

REVIEW : Diamond Hands: To The Moon (PC)

I noticed that the current top review is unfavorable due to poor controls. It’s not horrifying because it only requires the use of your left and right arrow keys to move and for directional views, as well as the space or up arrow key to jump. It’s only a matter of getting good at these games.

review-diamond-hands-to-the-moon-pcThe price is reasonable and reasonable for what it provides, especially if you have people to play with, as there is enough fun to be had either alone or with others. Overall, it's a solid and hard game that's worth checking out if you've played and enjoyed games like Jump King or are looking for a new challenge in general.
