You will be playing as the guy in charge of park with building facilities and creating overall best experience for your guests.
Just like any other simulation game which involves wild animals, you have to take care of your dinosaurs, feed them and treat them well while creating the best experience for your guests. While doing all this you have to research new technology and new dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs are created at Hammond Creation Labs and you will start the game only when you have a good selection of Dinosaurs. You will need expedition Centre to find new dinosaurs for you at dig sites and Fossil centers to extract DNA from fossils. The more DNA you are able to extract the better which will result in faster dinosaur incubation.
Things do keep breaking down around the park, like electric fences. Dinosaurs also become agitated and there are tropical storms as well, so you have to take care of lot of things. Also, things don’t end well when dinosaurs meet people, so you have to prevent that from happening and keep visitors happy.
If you have created the right facilities, you will be able to tackle such situations. Rangers can repair fences and tend to dinosaurs, plus Asset Containment Unit can tackle loose Dinosaurs.
Each island in Jurassic World Evolution have their own condition plus different missions are offered by different wings of your organization. So, there is plenty of variety to play with here. Tasks like researching Dinosaurs and building fences spring up from time to time. Other tasks like letting your Dino loose are on the crazier side.
The visuals are top notch with detail present even at granular level. But you can also play from the perspective of a ranger or ACU, that is really interesting.
With voice over from Jeff Goldblum and amazing sound track, the game features amazing production values.
Overall the experience is great but the whole park building process can get finicky at times and can lead to frustration.
The tutorials are detailed and help you get going in the game and they are a joy to play through.
