The 2013 Lego Marvel Super Heroes first game was a brilliant co-op game and Now with Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 featuring the biggest roster ever, the fun is over the top when playing in co-op.

The story picks up right after the events of Lego Marvel Super Heroes with Kang the conqueror pulling important Marvel places into his dimensions.

Now multiple new heroes and villains will have to travel to many locations to restore balance to universe.

All the Legos closely resemble their movie counterparts. The game starts off with Guardians of the Galaxy team and it really captures the vide of Guardians of Galaxy with beautiful space.

The gameplay is similar to all other Lego Games for the better or worse. Players beat bad guys, collect studs and solve puzzles. Progression is dependent on you clearing the puzzles and it is really fun.

There are certain improvements to tried and tested gameplay as well. During combat you can team up characters by holding character change button. Flying characters are far more maneuverable than before. Further the levels are filled with so many fun set pieces that it is a blast and never gets old. Boss fights do drag on a bit as there are certain puzzles to solve but the humor still remains spot on in Lego games.

Between the levels you can visit Avengers Mansion and complete side quests as well talk to Gwenpool.

As you progress through the game you will gain access to Chronpolis, the sand box of Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, spread across variety of locations from Marvels Universe where you can complete numerous side quests.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 contains 230 characters compared to 180 from the first game, sadly due to copy rights issues with Fox studios, this game does not include X-Men and Fantastic Four. Even with the exclusion of heavy hitters, there are still so many old and new characters to play with.

Similar to Lego Games of the past the game features 2 player co-op for entire campaign with vertical split screen which works well when roaming around large levels and solving puzzles. The game also features 4 player battle arenas similar to Lego Dimensions with variety of modes.
