Violent, arcade ice hockey title will be available to all countries represented in the game (except for North Korea…. probably)
Premium Edition Games has reached an agreement with Canadian game distributor Video Games Plus to make sure the physical version of Super Blood Hockey is available worldwide. Video Games Plus will serve as Premium Edition’s international shipping partner, sending copies of Super Blood Hockey to anyone anywhere… except maybe North Korea (even though NK has a team in the game).
“We’re extremely excited to make our debut game available in the country that birthed this exciting, no-holds-barred sport, Canada,” says Premium Edition Games Co-Founder Jonathan Polan. “Without hockey, Canada would just be a vast, beautiful country with a serious lack of violence. We hope that making our bone-crunching old school hockey game available up there will help spice things up a bit.”
In Super Blood Hockey, players will need to use a combination of superior skating, positioning, strategy, and blood-splattering, bone-crunching violence in order to achieve victory across multiple game modes, including Exhibition, Tournament, Challenge, and Franchise Modes. Local multiplayer for up to four players and leaderboards are also supported.
