Tome of the Sun – New City, Bosses, and Game Mode Now Available!

(NASDAQ:NTES) today announced that Tome of the Sun, the company’s anime-inspired action RPG game for iOS and Android mobile devices, has released a major content expansion, Secrets of Mudu City. Players can begin new adventures with a level 90 cap while exploring the Sun Kingdom inspired city of Mudu, and face challenges in the forbidding Demon Tower. Available now as a free download, Tome of the Sun features chibi-style characters, an art style reminiscent of Japanese animation, and a combination of fast-paced gameplay, deep customization of characters, evolving pet companions, and real-time multiplayer gameplay.

Tome of the Sun’s MMO experience will heighten as players receive a new level cap of 90, where players will be rewarded with four new sets of legendary gear. The expansion invites players to explore the new city of Mudu, and also introduces a new game mode in the Demon Tower. The Demon Tower is available to players at level 50 or above and features an endless tower that allows players to grind their loot daily solo or as a team. As players fight through challenges in the Demon Tower, they gain rewards the further and further they progress.
Unlike Peacock and Greenstone City, Mudu is designed to reflect the pristine and peaceful ambience of the cities of Sun Kingdom with ample canals, ponds, and cherry blossoms. Players can explore Mudu and interact with the villagers in order to learn more about the city’s rich history and advanced technology in fishing and aquaculture. As a water-based city, Mudu boasts the best fishing in the realm and players will be able to “cast off” and experience the game’s brand new Fishing System starting at level 42! Catch a wide variety of freshwater and saltwater animals for tasty treats as well as considerable stat boosts for use in combat or other adventures.
