upjers Hits the 100 Million Registered Players Mark

upjers (https://en.upjers.com/) has cause to celebrate. The number of registered players recently surpassed the 100 million mark. The developer and publisher of browser and mobile games is celebrating with a huge event for the entire community. Numerous games have fantastic perks for players for a whole week – from Thursday, May 18, 2017, to Thursday, May 25, 2017.

upjers’ success story began in 2003, when Klaus Schmitt programmed the business simulation browser game Kapitalism in his living room during his free time, with Marika Schmitt contributing fresh ideas and content. In 2006, UpSim GmbH was founded, and renamed to upjers shortly after. The first big breakthrough came in form of the garden simulation Molehill Empire in 2008, which still ranks among the company’s most successful games today.

In just a few years, the company’s workforce grew from a mere three people to its current staff of around 100 employees. upjers titles captivate players worldwide and are available in over 20 languages. In addition to browser games such as My Free Zoo, My Little Farmies and Uptasia, upjers now also develops and distributes games for the mobile platforms iOS and Android – these includes hits like My Free Farm 3, My Little Farmies Mobile and Stonies.

100 million registered players is a number that all of us here at upjers can be proud of. Our thanks go out to our wonderful, loyal community whose feedback helps us to improve our games again and again,” explains founder and CEO of upjers Klaus Schmitt. “In the future we want to remain faithful to our approach and continue to bring high quality browser games and mobile games to the market.”

It’s not all about new games either; existing games are constantly updated – sometimes even several times a week – with new content to guarantee long-lasting fun. upjers also successfully cooperates with external developer studios to make fresh and exciting games, such as upjers Wonderland which is currently being developed in cooperation with KingArt.
