Frictional Games Shows Off First Gameplay Footage of Amnesia: Rebirth
Frictional Games is showing off the first gameplay footage of Amnesia: Rebirth in a 5-minute-long video, revealing new environments, puzzles and monsters. The most anticipated horror game of the year, Amnesia: Rebirth is launching on October 20th on PC and PlayStation 4. Pre-orders available on Steam, GOG.com, Epic Games Store, and PlayStation Store.
The new trailer reveals some gameplay mechanics involved in solving puzzles, alongside Frictional’s signature physics interactions. It also shows a sneak peek of one of the game’s monsters where the player has to go through a frantic obstacle course in a desperate attempt to escape.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent revolutionized the first-person horror experience, and kickstarted an entire genre of survival horror games. Amnesia: Rebirth promises to bring back what worked in the original title while building a deeper narrative experience.
