Surviving on an alien planet is difficult. Surviving alone is quite the challenge. After a long hibernation, you wake up to find out you are living on a strange planet. You don’t have food, clothes or any goods so it’s time to start building a shelter, gathering resources and crafting items to survive in a strange new world. Gamera Games and TARO announce that it’s 2D sandbox RPG Keplerth will leave Early Access and fully release on Steam on May 24. The game is available on Steam Early Access for $14.99 / €12,49. To celebrate this announcement, the studio has just made public a new trailer that you can watch below.
The full release of Keplerth will include a couple of new features, the shelter management system and monster invasions. Players will find a shelter facility crafting table that will allow them to build living and entertainment facilites that will allow them to either increase the number of survivors in their base as well as to make profit. Monsters will now build camps near the player’s base and siege it from time to time. To avoid potential damages, players will have to create traps and build defensive facilities and armed shelters.
Other new features include the follower system, that will let players to create Replica, a powerful follower that can be armed with equipment and weapons and will help the player during battles. Players will also be able to craft new variety of traps, more dungeon challenges, new events and rewards, new weapons, more shelters and farm management contents, and more NPCs that will visit the players’s shelters.

Keplerth is a 2D sandbox that features survival, base building, farming, combat and exploration mechanics while allowing players to play solo or multiplayer. Survive on a hostile planet where maps are generated randomly giving each player a unique experience every time they play. Keplerth lets you choose if you want to live a quiet life on the surface… or face the dangers that lie underground. Manage your farm and reap the fruits of your labor or fight against enemies from different factions, take on dungeons with your friends, and leave your mark on this mysterious world.
