| Today, alongside an exclusive reveal in Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase, leading indie games publisher Fellow Traveller announced that Afterlove EP, a new game from the creator of Coffee Talk and Indonesian studio Pikselnesia, will release on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam in 2022. Afterlove EP is a slice-of-life adventure about love, loss and music. Set in Indonesia, a young musician named Rama suddenly finds himself alone in the bustling metropolitan city of Jakarta after his girlfriend, Cinta, unexpectedly passes away. Cinta’s voice lives on, narrating Rama’s every moment. He must overcome his grief and learn that moving on isn’t about forgetting the past, but cherishing it. During the game, players will live within the culture of Jakarta and help Rama create music, socialise with friends, make life choices, and maybe even learn to love again. The game’s stunning manga-inspired indie art from renowned Indonesian artist, Soyatu, provides a uniquely hand-drawn aesthetic that perfectly compliments the vibrant Jakarta locales. |

| AfterLove EP‘s musical theme guides players through the urban setting by sharing aspects of Indonesian culture with a soundtrack composed by Indonesian indie band, L’alphalpha. With songs written and performed in Indonesian (English translations included), the OST will feature brand new tracks from L’alphalpha, inspired by AfterLove EP‘s story. Rama’s interactions with friends and neighbors are split between day and night for short but meaningful bursts of gameplay. Containing an unconventional blend of elements drawn from adventure games, dating simulators and rhythm games, AfterLove EP will have players navigating Rama through new relationships, jam sessions with his rock band, and working on his first EP. Led by Mohammad Fahmi – creator of the beloved Coffee Talk – Afterlove EP is developed by Pikselnesia, a new all-Indonesian team who began putting together their debut title in lockdown with the goal of authentically representing Indonesia’s unique culture and game development talents. |
