Update for AMD Windows 11 Performance
oday, AMD released an update on knowledge base providing details from AMD and Microsoft that address known performance issues for compatible AMD processors when running Windows 11. Both issues have been solved and solutions are now available.
The updates are as follows:
- Microsoft released a software update which addresses the L3 cache latency issue. The download can be obtained from Microsoft KB 5006476 beginning today, October 21.
- AMD Chipset Driver version 3.10.08.506 addressing the UEFI CPPC2 issue is available beginning today, October 21.
