Atari Reveals Mayhem to Come in New Atari Mania Teaser Trailer
Microgame mayhem is front and center as iconic retro publisher Atari today unveils an all-new teaser trailer for its upcoming trek into eras past: Atari Mania. Coming this year to Atari VCS, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Atari Mania sees players take on the role of Caretaker of the Atari Vault, the repository for all classic Atari games. However, one day, chaos is unleashed as dead pixels suddenly appear in the Vault and begin wreaking havoc.
Showcased in the groovy new teaser trailer, familiar and treasured games begin to warp, mutate and combine into a series of increasingly crazy challenges!
More than just a blast from the past, Atari Mania sees beloved titles merged with one another, reimagined in creative and fun mashups both nostalgic and innovative. Play through a selection of over 150 microgames, each based on beloved classic Atari games from the 1970s and ’80s golden era of gaming. Featuring a zany storyline, aid the Caretaker of the Vault and restore order to this prized collection of video game history, all while discovering an Easter egg or two along the way!
