Edison joins Dallas after two successful years with Atlanta franchise, including a 2021 Overwatch League Grand Finals appearance

The second Dallas Fuel offseason signing brings 19-year-old Tae-hoon “Edison” Kim to the team’s roster, pending league approval. Edison joins the team as a DPS specialist for the 2022 Overwatch League season.

Edison played for the Atlanta Reign since his Overwatch League debut in 2019 and helped lead Atlanta to second place in the Overwatch League 2021 playoffs. He began his Overwatch career in 2017 in Overwatch Contenders Korea on teams including GC Busan WAVE, INTRO WAVE and FatCat before debuting in the Overwatch League. He has specialized in the play of damage heroes such as Tracer, Widowmaker, McCree, Doomfist, and Reaper, and joins a Dallas Fuel DPS lineup that includes Doha and SP9RK1E.

“Being able to sign Edison this early in the offseason is really important for us as we plan and practices for 2022,” said Mat Taylor, general manager of the Dallas Fuel. “We know how different gameplay will be next year in the league with the launch of Overwatch 2 and believe Edison brings critical experience and cohesion to our roster.”

The addition of Edison brings the Dallas Fuel roster to seven total players and also includes:

  • Dong-ha “Doha” Kim – DPS
  • Euiseok “Fearless” Lee – Tank
  • Hanbeen “Hanbin” Choi – Tank
  • Jun “Fielder” Kwon – Support
