The Spanish team Brytenwalda Studios announces the launch of the second and biggest update for Beyond Mankind on Steam. After listening to the comments of the community, the studio has been working hard over the past few weeks on improving the game’s experience, introducing changes in almost every technical and visual aspect of the game.

In the words of Alberto Fuentevilla, CEO of Brytenwalda Studios: <<The best school for a video game studio is to listen to the community with humility. It’s something we’ve been doing since we were modders and it’s in our DNA. This patch is the result of that dialogue. We hope the community enjoys it.>>. Even so, after this patch ‘s launch the studio will continue paying close attention to the community’s feedback.
Main characteristics of the update

New

  • Toggle voice off, short cinematics and reorganization of the existing ones to enhance the understanding of the story.
  • New art for the loading screens and other key moments.
  • Steam achievements and Steam Cloud compatibility.
  • Two new languages: Chinese and German – Apart from the existing English, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese and French.
  • Support for the OWO haptic vest.

General improvements

  • Corrections for most bugs in all areas and aspects of the game.
  • Reduction of the loading time.
  • Many improvements in the sound and graphic departments.
  • Improvements in animations of the characters and the creatures.
  • Improvements in the physics of the game.
  • Review of the AI’s behaviour and decision-making for both enemies and allies.
  • Balance of the game’s difficulty.
  • A new and improved auto-save system.
  • Restructuring of the order of the story so it is better understood
