Brazil Games is Prepared to Rock the Indie Scene at Tokyo Game Show

Top Brazilian Talent Will Show Up in Force, Bringing Fresh Gameplay Ideas, Stunning Art, and Compelling Stories

The Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2021 kicks off next week, and Brazil Games is coming prepared to show off plenty of exciting indie titles from their roster of talented studios. TGS is a four-day event that takes place from September 30 to October 3 and will feature a slew of game announcements and presentations from Japanese developers and publishers as well as those from other parts of the world. The Brazil Games delegation will bring over 40 game studios to the event, including a MeetToMatchTokyo delegation, with the goal of finding new opportunities to expand its reach further into the international games market as well as showcasing the incredible work being done in Latin America’s largest video game market.

Brazil Games (the Brazilian Games Export Program) is a partnership between Abragames – Brazilian Games Companies Association, and Apex-Brasil – Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency.

Of course, the best part about trade shows is the opportunity to go hands-on with the games. Brazil Games is proud to contribute six fantastic titles from some of their most talented indie studios to TGS’s Trial Play roster. Attendees of TGS are invited to free demos of the following games:

Tetragon(Cafundó Creative Studio) is a 2D puzzle game set in a world of shifting walls and unpredictable gravity. The free trial will be available on Steam.

Kukoos – Lost Pets(PETIT FABRIK) is a classic-feeling 3D platformer about saving brainwashed pets from an evil giant robot frog. The free trial will be available on Steam.

Sky Racket(Double Dash Studios) combines the careful precision of a block breaker with the frenetic action of a shoot ’em up to create a fresh gameplay challenge. The free trial will be available on Nintendo Switch.

Dandy Ace(Mad Mimic) is a 2D isometric action roguelike about magical cards and escaping illusions. The free trial will be available on Steam.

Gravity Heroes (Electric Monkeys) is a 2D arena shooter where players fight by controlling gravity. The free trial will be available on Steam.

Lila’s Tale and the Hidden Forest(Skullfish Studios) is a 2D action platformer about exploring a magical forest and working with woodland critters to overcome foes. The free trial will be available on Steam.

“Bringing a delegation of Brazilian studios to this year’s TGS is such an honor and a pleasure,” said Eliana Russi, Manager of Brazil Games. “We have much to show off on behalf of Brazil, and this amazing gathering of industry professionals and gamers, eager to see the next big indie titles is the perfect location.”
