Surrounded by a sea of mysteries and possibilities, one of the first things players will notice in Breakwaters is that water behaves differently here. Powerful crystals are used to displace water and reveal resources to harvest and quests to complete. Different strategies, such as building walls to contain the ocean or block waves, are key to rebuilding and helping the world recover from the constant chaos inflicted by Titans.
Full of adventure and various styles of play, the procedurally generated world of Breakwaters invites you to play solo or with friends online to swim, sail, and fly to find new islands with unique resources to build, craft, and survive. The ocean acts as a friend, helping you or your party along the way. But don’t be fooled… the ocean also creates havoc and contains your biggest foes. Deep beneath the waves are artifacts from a dead civilization—terrifying Titans that constantly roam the world, causing destruction.
You must defend the world you create, defeat the Titans, and calm the stormy seas. Can you earn the right to become a Breakwater?
