The Developer – Pyramid Games, along with the publishers – Ultimate Games S.A. and Gaming Factory S.A. are proud to announce a major, free expansion to Castle Flipper, that features a new module called Royal Tenants.
A medieval craftsman/architect sim, Castle Flipperhas just received an important update that brings a wealth of new content as well as completely new functionality in the Royal Tenants module.
Castle Flipper puts you in charge of not only cleaning, tidying up and fixing castles and houses, but also requires you to erect some new buildings. Apart from arranging and designing rooms from the ground-up, you’ll get a chance to visit other medieval boroughs, fortresses and settlements and absorb some fresh ideas, inch by inch, so that you could breathe in a new life to your own castle. What doesn’t suit you can be destroyed and remodelled. Rip it up and start again, freely experimenting with a variety of styles until you find the one that really suits you.
Remember, though – the castle and the houses of King’s subjects are not all that there’s to it. Why limit yourself to just that and not do a makeover of an entire borough? The king takes care of its subjects, so it makes perfect sense to make the public space as stylish as the fortress itself.
The developers from Pyramid Games have also put a lot of thought into the locations: some of them will reappear in a refreshed form during repeatable missions, while others will be brand new. The amount of available missions has also grown considerably, and many of them will let you prove your buildmanship skills.
Within the burroughs and the interiors you get to redesign, there will be several new types of NPCs, and quite a few of them will serve an important part in the kingdom’s daily life. Among them are masons, cleaners, lumberjacks and numerous others. Some special citizens will have sophisticated needs that you’ll fulfil by setting up gardens, which will be even more pleasant thanks to a revamped gameplay mechanic.
All the good news doesn’t stop here – would you like to come back to previously finished missions? Here you go, from now on you can use a map of the kingdom, thanks to which you can jump back to past jobs. Did you mention you really liked cleaning? Now the garbage you collect will be gathered in crates, which you can place in a warehouse, a boat or a cart to receive additional resources and sell them for a profit. That money can really come in handy when it comes to further improving your boroughs.
