Cats & Soup to Hold the Cutest Halloween Event Ever!
NEOWIZ invites Cats & Soup players to the cutest Halloween event ever! From now through November 15th, players can collect ‘candy’ pieces that can be traded for all kinds of in-game goodies. The Hallow Shorthair cat will also make its debut during the event, and three kinds of event-limited packages are available for those looking for Halloween items for their cats.
During the Halloween event, ‘candy’ can be earned through daily log-in rewards, selling a certain number of dishes, decorating cats’ mini-rooms, and in the Claw Machine mini-game facility. Candy can then be exchanged for 40 different themed items, including the Halloween event facility, Halloween Cat Tower Decor, and Halloween-themed mini-room furniture pieces.
The celebration also marks the arrival of a new cat breed called the Hallow Shorthair. It can be found at the Observatory facility or with special tickets that can change a cat’s breed. The Hallow Shorthair features a unique appearance that makes it slightly transparent and “glowy” in dim fluorescent color.
Players will also want to check out three event-limited packages. The Vampire Count’s House package includes the luxurious Halloween-themed Cat Tower decor. The Halloween Grim Reaper’s Equipment Set package offers players an adorable Halloween costume set. Lastly, the Halloween Pumpkin Facility Skins package for the cooking facility provides spooky vibes.
In addition to all the Halloween offerings mentioned above, the team has updated the game’s fishing system. Six new legendary fish will now appear in the fishing pond, including the Longspine Snipefish, Pacific Saury, Chinook Salmon, Crescent Grunter, Threadfin Butterflyfish, and Callanthias. Lucky anglers can also “catch” three new limited-time costume pieces that are collected through fishing.
