Overwatch World Cup competitor moves from Contenders to the Overwatch League for 2020

The Dallas Fuel has completed its opening day roster for the 2020 Overwatch League season. The Fuel announced today the signing of William “Crimzo” Hernandez, a flex support player who has competed in the Overwatch World Cup as well as for Team Envy, the Fuel’s Contenders team.

20-year-old Hernandez hails from Canada and has played for Team Canada in both of his World Cup appearances. He joined Team Envy in 2018 and has since been regarded as a talented support player, having gained recognition for excellent performance as a flex support player.

“Crimzo joining the Fuel is a move that I think many people have been looking forward to for a long time now,” said Aaron “Aero” Atkins, Head Coach of the Fuel. “He’s proven himself time and again on our Contenders team and been to the World Cup twice, so for us this was an easy decision to make. We’re really looking forward to seeing what we can accomplish with him this year.”

With this transition, Crimzo will remain in Dallas to practice with the Fuel at Envy Gaming’s new state-of-the-art practice facility in Victory Park.

This move completes the Dallas Fuel’s roster for the start of the 2020 Overwatch League season. See the full roster announcement video here.

The Dallas Fuel will host the opening weekend of the 2020 Overwatch League season on February 8 and 9. Event information and tickets are available at DallasFuel.com.
