South Korean DPS player recently played for Element Mystic
The Dallas Fuel’s 2020 roster continues to grow with new talent, with the team announcing today that DPS player Dong-ha “Doha” Kim of South Korea will be signed to the Fuel for the 2020 Overwatch League season. Doha previously played for Element Mystic in South Korea.
Since his first appearance in Overwatch Contenders in 2018, the 19-year-old has built a reputation as a fearsome Sombra player with the Element Mystic. He has secured multiple top finishes in Overwatch Contenders, including the 2019 Pacific Showdownand a championship win at the The Gauntlet in October 2019.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing what Doha can accomplish with us this year,” said Aaron “Aero” Atkins, head coach of the Dallas Fuel. “His gameplay in Contenders matches was extremely impressive to watch. Watching him and Element Mystic steamroll teams playing
the gauntlet and playoffs meta with their own unique tactics was a clear indicator of Doha’s talent.”
Doha will be relocating to Dallas to join the Fuel in training for the 2020 Overwatch League season at the new Envy Gaming practice facility.
