Unreleased flying shooter originally known as Dune: Ornithopter Assault
Independent game publisher The Retro Room Games is launching the Kickstarter campaign for Elland: The Crystal Wars, an unreleased first-person flying shooter for Game Boy Advance, today. Developed by Soft Brigade and owned by Cryo Interactive, Elland: The Crystal Wars –originally known as Dune: Ornithopter Assault– is a renaissance of a canceled game in the early 2000s. 20 years later, Elland: The Crystal Wars, while dropping the Dune IP, is finally getting a physical release including cartridge, box, and instruction booklet. More information about the history of this game can be found here.
Set in a harsh desert world on the outskirts of the galaxy, Elland: The Crystal Wars is a game where players must defeat the aggressive Trafford, who seized the resources of the planet and used them for evil purposes. Elland: The Crystal Wars takes you on adventure-packed missions to defeat Trafford. Throw high damage bombs, long-range missiles, and unlimited ammo of Grays Cannon to defeat the enemy. The upcoming version of Elland: The Crystal Wars, will have slightly new characters and dialogues to make it different from the original Dune IP.
