Envy Gaming Grows Leadership Team with New Talent, Names Chief Content Officer

Dallas-based esports organization Envy Gaming has announced a series of hires and a key internal promotion that bring its front office staff to more than 40 individuals and include added expertise in marketing, sales, content creation, and digital and social strategy. Envy’s expanded leadership team provides experience from a diverse set of industries including film, music, entertainment, and marketing agencies, and will help the organization advance its push into gaming, lifestyle content, branded entertainment, and more. The new hires will work with recently promoted Chief Content Officer Andrew Peterman.

Recent hires by Envy Gaming will support company efforts in brand development, fanbase engagement, content creation, and marketing and sales.

Andrew Peterman has been named Chief Content Officer after serving nearly three years as Envy’s Vice President of Business Development. Andrew’s career spans over a decade of leadership experience with esports organizations including 360icons and OpTic Gaming. Andrew will oversee Envy’s content production, marketing, and social media efforts.

Jenn Dickey joins Envy Gaming with more than 20 years’ experience in the entertainment and gaming industries, including roles with Microsoft and Machinima. As Vice President of Sales & Brand Partnerships for Envy Gaming, Jenn will help lead Envy’s efforts in branded partnerships, sponsorships, event activations, and more.

Dillon Mitchell is a digital marketing veteran with more than a decade of experience in gaming, media, and entertainment. Dillon previously worked with Loot Crate and Legendary Entertainment and is serving as Envy Gaming’s Vice President of Growth Marketing.

David Silverberg joins Envy Gaming as Director of Integrated Marketing, leading Envy’s efforts in sales enablement and working across departments to construct successful campaigns for new and existing partners. David comes to Envy with a background in digital media strategy and entertainment marketing including roles at Nerdist and CollegeHumor.

Carlos Tovar will serve as Director of Social at Envy Gaming. The former Wieden+Kennedy Social Strategist will oversee social and digital strategy for the Envy brand and its associated esports teams, as well as spearhead Envy’s Envy’s celebrity and athlete affiliate program.

Johnny Wickham brings 15 years of experience with entertainment brands including HBO and Nerdist to the role of Vice President of Content & Production at Envy Gaming. Johnny will support Envy’s efforts in media production and branded content as well as content for Envy’s esports teams.
