First team-based H1Z1: King of the Kill tournament to debut on The CW Network

I wanted to share the latest H1Z1: King of the Kill news:

WHAT: First team-based H1Z1®: King of the Kill® tournament and esports docuseries, “H1Z1®: Fight for the Crown™,” to launch on The CW Network and CW Seed this spring.

    • The Tournament: 75 players, comprised of 15 teams of five players, will compete before a live audience for their share of $300,000. With all 75 players entering the game at once, communication and developing an early solid strategy will be key for teams if they want to win this high-stakes, action-packed deathmatch. Each player will only have one life to prove their team is capable of being crowned champions. The tournament will be hosted and run by Daybreak Games and Twin Galaxies, the trusted authority of video game world records and performance statistics.
    • Teams and individual players wishing to be considered for the tournament can apply through the tournament’s website located at www.H1Z1FightForTheCrown.com, where full tournament application rules are available. Confirmed competing teams include: Echo Fox, Rogue Gaming, Panda Global and Denial Esports.
    • The tournament will air as the one-hour finale of the “H1Z1: Fight for the Crown” series and air on The CW Network Thurs., April 20.
    • The Docuseries: Leading up to the tournament finale, the five digital episodes of “H1Z1: Fight for the Crown” profile the Echo Fox esports franchise, an organization led by former NBA player Rick Fox and video game industry veteran Jace Hall.
    • The episodes will debut on CW Seed this spring.

WHEN: Thursday, April 20, 2017 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT) on The CW Network
