A CURSE IS BROUGHT UPON HEATHMOOR, BRINGING AN OVERHAUL OF NEW CONTENT IN FOR HONOR

Today, Ubisoft announced that For Honor’s Year 6 Season 2, Curse of the Scarab, will release on 16th June.  After the Great Cataclysm, Bolthorn used the stolen relics’ power in an attempt to save his people, but he unknowingly released a terrible curse upon Heathmoor in the process. Inspired by Egyptian mythology, this season introduces a new Hero Skin, a new Battle Pass and Battle Bundle, the Justice of the Pharaohs event, and brings back the Testing Grounds from 30th June to 7th July focusing on Guardbreak vulnerability changes.

The Curse of the Scarab will bring forth new in-game environment changes to reflect the curse brought over Heathmoor. Players can look forward to the three-part short story “Sands of Ruin,” which will reveal Bolthorn’s motivations for using the stolen relics and inadvertently dooming the land, and part one releases on 17th June. The new event, Justice of the Pharaohs, has a new variation of the Dominion game mode, lootable weapons, a free event pass, and new orders. The playable event is on the Riverfort map, including ambiance and art updates, and takes place from 16th June 16 until 7th July. More surprises will be revealed later in the season.

Year 6 Season 2’s Battle Pass will be available at launch with 100 tiers of different rewards reflecting the season’s theme. Players can purchase the traditional Battle Pass, or the Battle Bundle, which includes the Battle Pass and instantly unlocks 25 tiers. Also, the new Hero skin, Bolthorn the Cursed, will be available to purchase at season launch.

With over 30 million players, For Honor is available to play now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC with Xbox Game Pass, as well as on PlayStation®4 and Ubisoft+, the Ubisoft subscription service. For Honor is also playable on PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X | S through backward compatibility.
