NUMSKULL GAMES REVEALS TWO NEW TITLES – GEARSHIFTERS AND TREASURES OF THE AEGEAN, PLUS AN EXCLUSIVE SNEAK PEEK INTO CLIVE ‘N’ WRENCH, AND MORE AT NUMSKULL PRESENTS.
Earlier today, Numskull Games announced two forthcoming titles: Gearshifters and Treasures of the Aegean. Announced during the publisher’s third Numskull Presents online showcase, both titles will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4/PS5, Xbox One/Series X/S, and Steam.
Petrolhead shooter Gearshifters is a dream combination for shoot-em-up and driving fans. The experience is both narrative and action-driven, based on a dystopian future reality. Dodge bullets, perform handbrake turns, and shoot your way to victory.
Treasures of the Aegean is a time-loop adventure where players use parkour gameplay to explore and decipher the secrets of a mysterious island before it explodes. The game’s Bande dessinée aesthetic is inspired by European comics like The Adventures of Tintin and Àsterix, with the narrative similarly borrowing from real-life historic events.
The publisher’s second virtual event of 2021 featured insight into forthcoming 3D platformer Clive ‘N’ Wrench. Creator Rob Wass talked through what inspired the main duo, the nostalgic and wacky worlds players can travel between and their many different traps and puzzles, as well as the story behind Yooka-Laylee’s iconic snake Trowzer’s cameo appearance.
Numskull Games reminded viewers of the free-to-play title Rogue Glitch, a challenging rogue-lite that recently left Steam Early Access, including the addition of the final world, thirteen new items, two new characters, and a Free To Play single-player mode.
Another chance to win rare swag was announced, with two Collectors Editions copies of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- The Prophecy of the Throne up for grabs.
