Live by the Sword: Tactics is at its heart a Tactical RPG but takes a few modern measures to differentiate itself from others. No grinding is needed to enjoy the game, your characters are the same strength at the end of the game as they were at the start. You the player are what grows and as you become better you are able to beat harder fights and solve more difficult encounters.

“We would like to announce today we have partnered with Gravity Game Arise, an indie game publishing company,” said Labrador Studios founder Matthew Hamilton. “Labrador Studios is extremely excited to be working with Gravity Game Arise to ensure Live by the Sword: Tactics is able to reach as many people as possible. Our partnership will last for years to come with a goal of delivering unique IP’s in the RPG genre that you can’t get anywhere else.”

Alterium Shift
Alterium Shift is a retro JRPG-inspired indie game from Drattzy Games. Choose one of three heroes in training on a mission to prevent a catastrophic conflict between two worlds. Discover the heroes’ intertwined link as they seek to save Alteria from the Dark Elves. Be prepared to shift your expectations on what the real journey might be.

Alterium Shift has grown from a small passion project to a full-fledged game with many awesome features to come,” said Drattzy co-founder Mottzy. “We are extremely excited to be working with Gravity Game Arise to deliver a truly unique retro-style RPG that brings the nostalgia of the 90s to the modern world.”

“Alterium Shift culminates years of passion for retro-style JRPGs into a project we could only dream of making by ourselves,” said Drattzy co-founder DrazzRay. “Thanks to our partnership with Gravity Game Arise, we’ll be able to deliver on that dream and transform those passions into a game that we believe people will love for years to come”.

River Tails: Stronger Together
River Tails: Stronger Together is a 3D two player co-op adventure platformer with a colourful cartoon aesthetic. Teammates must work together to defeat end-of-level bosses and solve puzzles across a range of natural-world environments.

Play either as Furple, the curious and excitable purple kitten, or Finn, the independent fish with a bit of an attitude problem. You’ll embark upstream with these unexpected allies, towards the icy mountain where Furple’s family are in mortal danger. Can you save them in time?

Pick a trusted teammate and prepare to experience an epic journey through nature in all its glory. Kid Onion Studio, an indie game development company headquartered in the UK and Italy is developing River Tails: Stronger Together. This  exciting 3D action-adventure platformer is designed to be played by two people in couch co-op mode and is targeted to all major platforms.

“Think about a great road trip with one of your best friend…done?! Great! Now replace the road with a lush river, your friend with grumpy fish and you are a cute purple cat.”, Kid Onion co-founder Francesco says, “Get ready to experience a great two player adventure in which you need to collaborate and time your actions in order to succeed”

“We are working to offer players a co-operative game where they can create fun memories and have a lot of laughs while playing”, from Kid Onion co-founder Gabriele. River Tails: Stronger Together trailer: https://youtu.be/GINqw7N5-6w

NecroBoy: Path to Evilship
NecroBoy is a puzzle-adventure game from French indie developer Chillin’ Wolf, in which you can revive souls into the form of minions, the NecroMinions (because everything starting with Necro is cooler), that will follow our hero, NecroBoy.

Use your minions to solve various puzzles by giving them orders, helping you to progress further into the crypt of NecroMan, an infamous necromancer that tyrannized the kingdom a century ago. What a role model!

Although the gameplay is made to be relaxed (we’re Chillin’ Wolf, remember?). The journey through the dungeons will make the players scratch their heads over puzzles as the difficulty increases!

But the main focus of this game is the story. A story of this megalomaniac, theatrical, lonely kid who wants to take the path of evil. Why would he choose such a goal? What does he really want? That’s what you’ll learn as you follow the progress of NecroBoy into the crypt – and his progress as a person, with a tone often comedic, but… sometimes darker. NecroBoy’s character design was originally inspired by Ed from the 90’s game Tonic Trouble! It was one of my favorite games when I was a kid, so I wanted NecroBoy to be a fun and endearing protagonist like Ed was.

A demo for NecroBoy: Path to Evilship will be available soon, so please keep your eyes open!

“I hope people will fall in love with NecroBoy, like I did while creating this little guy” from Yool the developer and owner of Chillin’ Wolf.
