The Indigenous detective game by Achimostawinan Games, previously revealed at Summer Game Fest, will receive additional time to polish
|Achimostawinan Games, is very grateful for the patience and support of its wonderful player base! For the past few years, the team has been hard at work aiming to deliver a game of the highest quality, infused with the richness of Ontario’s Indigenous communities. However, a game like this requires a lot of attention to detail, which ultimately translates to additional time making sure everything fits in the right place. In a conscious effort not to compromise the game experience by rushing to a deadline, and with the clear objective of avoiding any form of crunch time, to ensure the team can continue to work in a safe and healthy manner, the decision was made to push the release date for Hill Agency: PURITYdecay. This additional time will be spent polishing the game and making sure that it lives up to the community’s expectations. An exact release date will not be shared at this time, but we will make sure to update with revised timing in the near future.Once again, Achimostawinan Games appreciates the passion of everyone in the community who have been following Hill Agency and the team’s progress. We can’t wait to experience this mystery-filled whodunit with you.|
|Hill Agency: PURITYdecay is a narrative-driven, exploration heavy, detective game. When you are on a case, the game won’t solve the mystery for you, it won’t even tell you if you are on the right path. You must sharpen your senses and follow your instincts. Explore your surroundings to uncover clues, interview witnesses, devise potential suspects by analyzing your findings, and then make your accusations.|
- A unique take on Indigenous futurism
- Deeply involved narrative
- Unguided approach to detective work
- Memorable cybernoir aesthetic with a soundtrack to match
Hill Agency: PURITYdecay is being developed by the 2022 winner of the Ubisoft Toronto Indie Series, Achimostawinan Games, and will be available on Windows PC.
