HordeCore Prologue Gets Massive Content Update!
*static noises* To all our listeners in the wastelands, we have some breaking news: according to reports, HordeCore v. 0.8.0.4 “Hordeween” update is finally available to download! The patch features a number of changes, fixes, and some new content for you to try!
New Content
- Weird props were sighted across the wastelands. Apparently, it’s an old holiday known as “Halloween”.
- Coincidentally, the hordelings also realized they could dress up. They’re still as deadly as before, but 100% cuter now!
- The Highway has officially reopened. Get ready to test your mettle in deadly vehicle combat!
- Someone found the keys to the Gas Station. You can now go inside and explore it!
- There are scattered reports of a new class of hordelings – codename Hulks. As their moniker might suggest, they are pretty tough to kill!
- We’ve received a box of hats and masks for the survivors. Maps were in there too, if you’re interested!
- You’ll now receive awards for doing things. Someone at the office is calling them achievements.
UI Improvements
- The game was taught to snitch and will warn you if you try to equip a weapon that doesn’t belong to a certain character.
- At the same time, weapons now come with a sticker so it’s easier to understand who they actually belong to.
- There’s now a “red blood” button in the options. That sounds ominous, if you ask me.
- You can now see who’s connected to a co-op session from the main menu.
Balance Adjustments
- Game difficulty will now scale according to the number of extra co-op players connected.
- Armored enemies were given a refresher course on how to actually use armors.
- The Guardian’s new training is finally starting to pay off.
- Hulks have passed their background checks and can now join the horde.
Bug Fixes and Other Improvements
- Jogging in place has officially gone out of fashion. Your followers should no longer keep running while standing in the same place.
- Co-op players connecting through Steam Remote Play no longer have to be dragged to position 2.
- The survivors understood that running from a boss fight and pretending you’re stuck outside while your friends suffer a horrible death isn’t exactly cool.
- Not doing something in the tutorial should no longer have you drowning in prompts throughout the following dialogs.
- The AI is finally learning to walk like an adult.
- Evercade – Jaleco Collection 1 and Piko Collection 2 available for Pre-Order Now!
