Watch gorgeous landscapes in 4K from a bird’s eye in this game based on an award winning short film by the co-creators of The Longest Road on Earth
TLR Games is happy to announce that IDEA, their new exploration platforming game, will finally arrive on Steam, iOS and Android on January 2023. The date has been revealed in a special trailer released to celebrate that IDEA won the Best Visual Design Award at the IndieCade 2022. This preview includes new areas of the game and a relevant change in the naming of users’ messages, which are now called Spirits.

Inspired by the award-winning short film of the same name by Olli Huttunen, IDEA is a physics-based exploration game with platforming elements that invites players discover a beautiful, savage world as they help their ideas find their place in the world.
The game sets you on a journey of awe-inspiring beauty, exploring gorgeous landscapes from a bird’s eye view recorded in 4K resolution, with no loading times between screens. Spark an idea, represented by a white lightbulb, and send it forth to find its place in the world. Watch your idea from the sky, bouncing and falling, and help it when it gets stuck before the music ends.
If you find your destination, your idea will bloom into a piece of visual art, a short clip of beauty and marvel. But sometimes, it won’t be able to advance, and its journey will end there – but it won’t be for nothing: it can help other people’s ideas in the future, or even yourself. IDEA has won several awards since it’s was announced in early 2022, and became finalist of the prestigious Sense of Wonder Night at the Tokyo Games Show, last September.
