Zordix Names New Board Member Stefan Lampinen With Legendary Games Industry Background

Zordix Publishing reveals: Hit game Pinchcliffe Grand Prix to get spiritual successor on Nintendo Switch and PC

Stefan Lampinen has been proposed as a new board member of the listed Swedish game company Zordix AB (publ) to be included at the Annual General Meeting on 7th May 2020. Through its latest board recruitment, Zordix strengthens its organization with expertise at the highest international level to complement the Group’s continued global expansion.

Stefan Lampinen is one of the most well-known leaders in the video games industry, equipped with a large international network. He has worked in leading positions at Electronic Arts, Nokia, Microsoft and Warner Bros. Lampinen will strengthen Zordix’s strategic business development towards new customers, markets, distribution channels, and publishing. 
“I look forward to joining Zordix in an extremely exciting phase both internally and in the global market where growth is taking place in all Zordix categories such as PC, consoles and mobile games.”, says Stefan Lampinen. 
David Wallsten, CEO of Zordix’s subsidiary Dimfrost, is at the same time joining the Zordix board of directors. He has a background as an investor and business developer. 
“During the past six months, Zordix has doubled its workforce, and through recent acquisitions, has started a journey as a Group with international reach. Expanding the board with a game industry legend such as Stefan Lampinen and a strategic business developer with a large investor network such as David Wallsten, is natural at this stage.”, says Matti Larsson, CEO, Zordix. 
Zordix is a fast-growing Group of game companies with its headquarters in Umeå, Sweden. Its IPO took place just over one year ago and over the last six months, Zordix has doubled in size to become 50 employees. In 2008, Stefan received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Swedish Games Industry.
